Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Tmux Term iOS application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Tmux Term is an SSH client and tmux session manager for iPhone, with integrations for command-line tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, and Nmap. The Service connects to servers you control or have permission to access.

2. Accounts

You create an account by signing in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with parental consent.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to access systems you are not authorized to access
• Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app, except where allowed by law
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with our infrastructure or attempt to bypass usage limits

You are solely responsible for what you do on the servers you connect to. Tmux Term provides a tool — how you use it is your responsibility.

4. Trial and Purchase

The Service is offered with a 7-day free trial. After the trial ends, continued use requires a one-time Lifetime purchase.

Lifetime purchase is processed by Apple's In-App Purchase system. The price is $9.99 USD (or local equivalent) and is non-recurring. Purchase grants you indefinite access to the current and future features of the Service, subject to these Terms and to Apple's reasonable continued operation of the App Store.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy.

5. Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the app or use it on another device signed in with the same Apple ID, you can restore your Lifetime purchase via Settings → Restore Purchases.

6. Intellectual Property

The Tmux Term app, brand, and associated assets are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.

Open-source components (SwiftTerm, Citadel, swift-nio, Supabase SDK, etc.) are used under their respective licenses.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services including Apple (App Store, Sign In with Apple) and Supabase (authentication and database). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for any third-party services or the servers you connect to via SSH.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data transmitted through it will arrive complete and unaltered.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us, other users, or third parties. Lifetime purchases remain non-refundable upon termination caused by Terms violations.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated through the app or by email and will take effect 14 days after notice unless you object by ceasing to use the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts of İstanbul, Türkiye, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law requires otherwise in your jurisdiction.
